All Welcome
@Lumiya
please let @Osiris post first!

The maplewoods was nothing extraordinary, there was no traces of what was left behind, nor' any familarity of wolves. It wasn't the closure she wished to get, but the ending that Desdemona must accept. She decided to leave her bitterness against Morningside there, and forget what they offered. Pleasant memories at the beginning to end with a sense of betrayel, it felt worthless to continue giving them thought.

The guards decided their next destination, which was to visit the packs they skipped in the mountains. They didn't want to get in trouble with the Saints, and rather desired for their mission. Thankfully the two mercenaries of Moonspear had a safe journey so far, there wasn't trouble, and only warnings of said-group.

Desdemona looked at Osiris, and then lifted her snout to the sky to call for the leaders of this willowed-group.

Their stop at the Maplewood had been uneventful—much to Desdemona's dismay. From there, they traveled southeast and began to make their return home. Osiris and Desdemona unexpectedly came across Seelie Court's borders—neither of them had heard of a pack existing within the willow's vicinity. They decided to make a detour, figuring there was no harm in making another stop.

Standing at the borders, Osiris followed Desdemona's lead. They howled, requesting a conversation with a member of the pack.

The flood had been disastrous, but not as much as she had expected. Due to the faeries' quick reaction, much of their caches and herbs had been saved and most their members were safe and sound. She hoped the rains would stop before winter came, she'd hate for all the water to be frozen - or perhaps the world had had enough of all of them, and would continue the rain until the whole realm was part of the sea.

She was digging another cache in the higher parts of the forest when the call for an audience rang through the air. The girl was already soaked to the bone, so what more would a trip to the border do anyway? Even Loinnir had grown apathetic about it all. They exchanged a look, a mental shrug, then the small, skinny queen carried the white, wet bird with her to meet their visitors.

Greetings. The young queen spoke, though her tone was less chipper than usual. Her tail was held high, casually flopping wet fur around as she wagged it in a friendly manner. How can I help you? She continued, her eyes briefly glancing over the pair, not recognizing their scent or faces from anything - though the rain was no help.

A young, silver wolf drifted from the willows. Desdemona was internally surprised how a yearling, could claim to be a leader, but remained with stoicism, understanding it wouldn't be polite. She momentarily glanced around to see if any else would follow, a guard of sorts- but none showed. It was only the young Queen, and the mercenaries who guarded each other, Osiris and Desdemona.

It was unknown pack after all, a coldness drifted off of her, "We are from Moonspear, I am Desdemona, and this is Osiris," she greeted with an ear flick, "we come seeking who has been affected by the weather, and how far it has gone."

Lumiya reminded Osiris of Praimfaya, who had been even younger when she had led Roangeda; his judgment would extend beyond her young age. Seeing an individual with a following was inspiring—making the notion of leadership seem all the more attainable. Thus far, their journey had inspired thoughts of leading his own pack on day, but Osiris kept his daydreams to himself.

"Hello," he rumbled in reply, deferring to his co-gaurd to explain the reason for their visit.
