the tension clogged the air in a way not even the desert heat could, Racharra had nearly sunk her claws into the sand from the anticipation that rose before carefully watching Mesan-ka. she shot a sharp glance at Rapheses, annoyed but she held her tongue. the disapproval of the others spoke for her when she was hesitant to.

since meridian is gone, PPing away and last for me (and chars) <3

the confusion was clear. the disrespect was palpable. senmut watched as the coyote was freed.

she sped off into the golden dunes and was gone.

"mazoi." his voice was measured. senmut did not look toward prince rashepses or his men. "put another band of patrols around the camp. ensure no coyotes are attacked unless they give us reason."

with that, he turned, tapping racharra's shoulder to accompany him.

khusobek would linger until rashepses too, had turned away.

and tavina would glower at the assemblage, setting a haughty pace for her own self back to their outpost. men!
