Firefly Glen [PHE] The Elk Bellows Group Six

There are five wolves per group. I can move around if I must, but I hope these groups work. That being said you should be able to roll for 1 or 2 Elk. Five wolves could probably take down 2 if they work well together. There is an adult and a youngster to be the lead two. I don't know if you want to have threads prior to this backdated or not. We rolled a 1 so only 1 for us.

Rodyn found the group that would hunt with him. He chose the small girl @Chani to help him hunt. And with her he also chose the names of @Storm, @Pepper and @Ipiktok.

Hello I'm Rodyn Ardeth. Welcome to the great hunt and gathering. I hope you are finding enjoyment while here.

As they all settled near him. He looked to the girl Chani and spoke softly. Would you like to address our group as well? Choose a formation?

He would wait and see though he did whisper. I suggest two in the front, two on the sides and 1 in the rear to keep them running forward.

Then he called out for silence while the girl chose her words and spoke to the group.

chani would be hunting alongside rodyn, the creator of this event and organizer of the hunt itself. this brought prestige to sapphique, she felt, her step confident with pride as she moved to his side.
a hushed suggestion. she looked at him and then gave a slight nod. "i t'ink rodyn an' i will be in front. we need wolves on de side an' on de back. who be goin'?"

Their group looked strong enough. Pups weren't his first choice for hunting partners, but they needed to learn somehow. There'd be plenty to eat, whether they were successful or not. 

"I can bring up the rear," he offered. It'd enable him to make sure no one fell behind.

It looks as if Ipiktok and Storm fell off due to the checker. So we will do slight pp of them just being in their positions and they can join in once they get back in for sake of time. <3 if this is distasteful or someone dislikes it please let me know.

Rodyn nodded his head. Very well it seems that Pepper will be our rear. Chani and I will be at the front to bring it down. Ipiktok and Storm please stay to the sides. Shall we.

He waited for the girl Chani to start the procession and he bent to the ground in a artful bow to watch and wait and join in when the time came to bring them down. He and Chani would bloody their hocks and if all went well, he'd be able to pull the creature down so she could take the killing bite.

But for now. He positioned himself and the chase began!

as the others were given their roles, chani sidled beside rodyn. pleased and more than a little nervous, she nodded at the taller man as he signalled the beginning of the run.
keeping pace with the moontide leader, she turned her focus away from the hunters and onto the bobbing white tails of the deer which scattered in front of them.
their swiftness surprised even the girl; she put on extra speed to approach the taut flank of a near stag, biting at his haunch to harry the creature on.

He was less worried about the prey than keeping tabs on the party ahead. It wasn't a position he particularly enjoyed, or one he'd spent much time taking, but he had more than enough knowledge to do it effectively. 

Much of his focus was placed on Chani. She was young, but spearheading the hunt. It was dangerous, so he did his best to keep an eye out for her while his body did its best to remind him that he was no longer young. 

As long as they kept the pace, they would have no problem bringing one down.
