There were so many names! Addled by tragedy, she did her best to memorize them and keep track of the details Sialuk included about each. Meerkat’s face froze in an expression of rapt wonder until the mention of a clouded spirit. Then her brow furrowed, remembering Sialuk’s little black cloud of yore.
