All Welcome
maybe @Shisu for some stargazing?

The woods had become stifling, in a way. The dark canopy was like a tomb, burying her beneath the weight of shadows. All it did, lately, was remind her of the constant threat of Redhawks, the bounty on Mou's head. She found little comfort in anything she once had cherished; even the whispers of the daedra at the Temple seemed subdued, as if they, too, were preparing for the onslaught of their enemies.

The girl sprawled out across the cool stone, looking at the myriad stars above. It wasn't the most clear of nights--foggy, in fact--but every once in a while, pinpricks of bright light cut through the thick clouds, beacons of hope. She wondered why some appeared more blue, others more red, or pink, or green. She had always wondered that.

The moon and stars were not Maegi's domain. They were all too peaceful. And for a moment, here, she envied those who were at home with the night and its vast sky. Serenity was not her birthright, nor, it seemed, Mou's. She would never be a stargazer; she was born to things beneath the ground, within the skin and bones. Blood and poison.

And tonight, she hated herself for it.
