Of course, her calls called the calvary. She ignored them for a moment, listening, but no further sound came.  Likely she hadn't been heard.

Finally she opened her eyes and turned to just stare at them both, hardened.  Worried? She asked, her lip curling.  Good. 

She thought of asking them to prove the threat, but it was one they could easily make good on, and disobeying wouldn't give her much right now.  So she simply continued to watch them, feeling the sorrow turn to an acrid hatred towards these two young wolves.
