Seaside Moors desert shadows creep across purple sands

She was curious.. of course.  But the world was wide, and the little girl was not quite up to exploration.  At least, not in her mother's eyes.  A distraction of another kind, perhaps?

Hearing the Hmm, Rosalyn smiled, an idea appearing.  Softly she began to hum, the melody starting low.  It was a song from long ago, and one that was half forgotten.  But the melody was pretty, and at least most of that she recalled.
