she came to moontide as she had told @Panuk she must.

this taste of the ocean made her somehow grateful to know that just beyond her own spine was more familiar lands. perhaps she had become attached to the forest too and not realized it until she was far from it.

but she wished to hone a hunting skill and to do so upon unfamiliar lands might make her the best provider. @Rodyn had told her of their seals and fish. perhaps it was best to place her anxieties into excitement to see these coastal hunters.

politely she stood at their border and called for company.

they were a moon village, but not hers! she would not walk right in!

Rodyn would be lying if he said it didn't make him nervous to have a daughter of moonwoman at his door step. Not because they were a hindrance, but because he loved them so and two had been lost. And he worried over the rest.

it sounds like they are a badge of honor for a hunter. she felt a bit sheepish for having asked to hunt one now! perhaps i am meant to sharpen my skills before i partake in seal hunts.

Rodyn did not mind her questions and if she wanted to hunt a seal. He would make sure she knew how someday. Not certain how, but he would do his best.
