Blacktail Deer Plateau Colorado calls to me

This one was complicated.  Rosalyn's smile faded some, but she laughed.  You'd think I would want to.  But I don't.  She did not necessarily want to explain to her daughter why.  It was hard, as a parent, to admit your struggles and mistakes.  She'd own up to the obvious ones in a heartbeat, but the insecurities she held close were different.  She wasn't sure she'd even shared them outright with her wife.

Aningan is young, but he may learn.  We've had few troubles here.  And maybe, someday, you'll lead?  She posed it light heartedly, but her single golden eye did search Nieve a bit.  She wondered what ambitions her children who did not choose to wander held for the pack.
