It would be a good day if she could make a catch and bring something back for Chacal. Her babies were hungry, no doubt, and the woman needed all the nutrients she could get.

So with seasons of learning to hunt for his sister, he speared the creature right below it's head with a claw and tossed it to the ground. A rock in his maw and he dropped it on it's head and it lay there broken. He pressed that towards his companion.

It would take more than one to fill her belly so he put himself to use. Finally grasping about 7 more and then a big fat fish. He followed the shadows and struck with teeth. Laying his prizes at her feet with a smile.
