"I am alive, if that is, what you wanted to know," Wraen replied with a cautious note in her voice. She remembered Osprey's stories about cannibals and really hoped that this guy's interest had been only casual and not food-oriented at all. From her viewpoint, he could easily overpower her, if he wanted, and eat her as well.

"Well, the only good hole around here, has already been claimed," she replied, misunderstanding, what the guy had asked her. "But I am going to leave this den soon - so you can hole up here, if you want to? It might be a little too small for you though."
