Rueger had tried his paw at hunting outside the territory, but had failed. Of course, hunting small game inside the territory was futile since small game was all but gone. So, he made his way back into the secured borders of Sunspire. He didn't have a destination in mind, but he was thinking about finding a spot to sleep. He was used to sleeping above ground, especially during the warmer months.

He skirted around the dens and paused before making his way towards one of them. Liffey hadn't run him off the last time he was around, and spending time with the pups gave him an air of life that no one else could. Tail swaying back and forth, his gaze searched for any pups that might be outside the den.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.

Wraen had wanted to meet Rannoch's kids as well, but, when she had turned up, they had been having an afternoon nap, and not wanting to disturb them, she had slinked away and chosen a sunny spot to lie on somewhere nearby.

Half an hour or so later, she was awoken by the sound of approaching footsteps, she pulled herself up from lying to sitting and drew Rueger's attention with a quiet bark and whispered: "They are all asleep." Then she got to her feet, stretched and was ready to go elsewhere, with the guardian in tow, to have a chat. If he was up for it, naturally.

The chat went for a very short time, because an emergency call from the borders, made Wraen leave again.
