Pack Activity
at daybreak, the listener emerged from seclusion in the druids' grove and found @Ingram. she whispered to her keeper of the changes on the wind. morgana's new role. tulok's promotion. alduin's rise to executioner. fury's new identity as a queen to rule under blackwater. the acceptance of new acolytes among their ranks, and the importance of one in particular.

she whispered that it was time to tell the druids of what fate held for them.

summon them, the prophet told him when all had been said. i must speak to them, and allow them to speak. the druids must be of one mind.

please allow ingram to post first. only those tagged may participate. each round will end after four days.

in hushed tones, trikova speaks to him of the changes upon the winds and the keeper listens. he is quiet as she speaks; face neutral, seaglass gaze steady upon her, ears forward — towards her a sign that she had his rapt attention.

she always had his rapt attention, but beyond affection these words were important.

wispmother. speaker. executioner. death of nyra and birth of valkyrie — to ingram this is similar to how he killed worripa in lieu of ingram's birth ( even if there was great difference, in his mind he believes it is similar ). and among them: resurrection; a crown to be fastened.

the keeper desires strongly then to go to his reading bones; to scatter them upon flatstone and read what the spirits of the commanders had to tell him but resists.

not now.

later.

when their conversation is done — though admittedly, it is a bit one sided as he silent for most of the words trikova shared with him — ingram lifts his muzzle and sends out the summoning command for the druids of blackwater:

come.

magick, threadbone reading & 'godhood' is to be taken purely with a grain of salt and are written to be creations of ingram's imagination and religious faith.

he arrived.

early, too, it seemed. one of the only other faces present save for the listener and the keeper. there was, of course, some slight tick of tension in his spine when faced with this.

would they think him so devout to show so early? or would they think him some sort of shadowy lurker?

then he realized that surely either one would look good. so he remained, silent but fixated on them.

Fury too came to the summons.
Her leviathans size and pale coat stood out starkly as she prowled from the depths of the islands terrain.

Inquisitive, her feral golden gaze looks to the Listener, to the Keeper, then to an Acolyte she hadn't yet met.

The Sunfire decides to stay standing, an ever constant guardian, as this meeting would go on. Quietly, she awaited the expected arrival of others.

Alduin and Tulok would be leaving today on their trip to the canyon, but they’ve been summoned by the blue eyed pup, Ingram. His nerves light a fire within him when he gazes upon the dark male. He does not know why he’s caught the hellhounds ire so suddenly. Or actually he does know, he just hasn’t chosen to really acknowledge and look further into it.

Though he is dominant and feral by nature, these tendencies make themselves more present as he grows older. His demand for submission among those who speak to him also grows — aggressively so.

So when he shows up to this meeting, it is with a grim scowl upon his ever emotionless face. Bloody eyes constantly bland save for the anger that grips his mind and heart.

He languidly strides up to the small group, head level with massive shoulders and sporting wounds on his face, neck, left shoulder, and rib cage from his fight with the betrayer — Xynos. His aura is deadly and his mood even more so, but still he is present if only to hear the news and to obey the Shadow.

Still, he looks around to see a new face he has not yet seen. Committing the male to memory, he mentally notes to find out who he is later.

Finally, he would halt on Fury’s right shoulder and stare wine red orbs at the Shadow and her loyal dog, awaiting what they may have to say.

he had not settled well, but something like acceptance had taken hold of halcyon and allowed his weary bones to rest for a time. his strength was returning more quickly than he'd anticipated. when the summons came in an unfamiliar voice, the acolyte rose to answer the command with little hesitation.

he arrived to find a small gathering of wolves, none of whom he recognized. except the girl. the listener. he watched her warily, sparing little more than passing glances for the others gathered.

The boy arrived, not quite sure for what or why; he lurked in the background, eyeing each wolf as they came. All he had were questions, though he hadn't a way to ask. He kept his eyes on Ingram, waiting for what was to come.
He is mute and cannot speak. - 'Sign language.'

He answered the call without question, arriving after most of those called were already gathered.

The demon offered nods to the listener, keeper, his brother, and Fury. Then he planted himself next to Halcyon. He could sense the wariness from the new acolyte, and he wished to reassure him with the presence of someone he knew. The man would need to learn to trust them all, and it would need to start with Tulok.

He was silent as his two-toned gaze lifted to settle on the listener and keeper. He waited to see why they had been called here.

She did not want to be here.

Lazuline thought her sister a fool for herding them to this island in the middle of fucking nowhere. She thought her a fool for thinking that she needed the aid of these strangers. That they could heal their sister. And not her.

Bitterness gripped her heart from the moment they came. It shoved deeper into her flesh with each passing day.

Lazuline could hear the call far from where she rested. She snorted.

Bitterness would keep her rooted to the spot.

powerplaying @viridian with permission

she didn't expect to have to attend a meeting so soon.  she had been at her sister's side when the summons rang, and she rose to help viridian stand.  come, she said softly, and they began to walk towards where the gathering was.  it took them longer due to viridian's condition, but they made it just as tulok came in.  cerulean positioned viridian a tree to help support her, and sat down beside.
