Lost Creek Hollow because you've had your chances, (mandatory pack meeting)

like nunataq, merrick too was restless, but unlike the wanderlust building in the girl, he himself had no designs on leaving the hollow. there was a good deal to explore here, even if the terrain felt familiar to some degree. when terance's howl arose, the boy heeded it, slipping to indra's side. the man's voice was somber, and even if merrick did not recognize all the names, he did note the gravity of the situation, the way the other wolves were gathered in silence. 
blinking curiously at the zoned-out nuna, the boy itched to join her, if only to share whispers about what was going on, but a glance to indra's face suggested that was not necessarily the best idea. and so, like a preschooler condemned to the hard pew during a sermon, merrick sighed softly and resigned himself to the boredom of the first pack meeting in their new home.
