today there was no mahler and no druid. skaigona slumped boredly in the den against her sleeping mother, too riled to slumber herself.
distraction provided itself in the form of @Worripa's nearest ear. the war-girl tottered over at once and began to catch at it with her hard little gums, growling squeakily in her throat. it was never too early to decide who would be above the other, once they emerged from the den for longer periods of time.
