The two of Mereo were led swiftly through the mesa and ushered within the palace.

Khaba escorted his party of meddlesome soldiers through until they reached the throne room. It was there he would demand they, @Tierra and @Minne, wait while he went off to find @Ramesses. Meanwhile, a fellahin would be ordered to keep an eye on the two in his absence.

Location the pharaoh's chambers, the jodai walked alongside the divine man, filling him in on who he'd found at their borders and what all had been said. No detail had been spared.

Then upon returning to the throne room, the dark beast followed at the pharaoh's heel as he ascended his stone seat. The jodai himself settled a step below: a protector and captain's rightful place.

Waiting for what Ramesses would say, Khaba hovered a cold, stern gaze upon the two he had brought with him. They would be punished properly, the jodai hoped. For if not, this time among few others, he would not fear speaking his opinion on the matter. Surely he had earned such a right after his lengthy time of loyal service.

he turned when the stern-faced jodai escorted more than one into his throne room, looking away from his cup of liqueur. the bad humour which had been forming lifted somewhat to see tierra, though he raised an elegant brow at her unknown companion as well as khaba.
"what is the meaning of this?" pharaoh inquired lightly of the dark guardian, speaking only to him though he cast a wondering eye over the women, both mereoans.
