All Welcome
official IC moving thread <3 tags for visibility & timelines; no need to join unless you wish :3 a quick move to SHADEWOOD

it was unfair that erzulie had just chosen a rendezvous for her daughters, only to be driven back into the forest at the western edge of the coast by the rain. open as the moors were for prey, they proved empty save for boulders, distantly spaced trees.
the rain had never stopped.
bedraggled and with the damp speaking in her ageing bones, the harlot at last clucked to @Arcelia and @Solaire, where she had found them among their new playground. with them in tow, she had returned to the densite for @Rosalyn and little @Chacal. @Clementine was given charge of @Regin, and erzulie gathered @Valravn to her side as well, keeping her mismatched gaze upon him as they moved.
she looked to @Aningan now, then swung her muzzle through the air sparkling with rain toward @Raleska. would she come? lastly @Rosencrantz, and she was steadied by the sight of the archangel. @Rowan had quietly departed some time ago; she found the end of his trail drifting elsewhere, and it seemed @Tundra might have as well.
for now, however, erzulie's attention was upon the escort of the young ones, and they crossed the moors quietly, toward the tight forest of elm and oak. it had been a long while since rusalka was veiled by tree cover; the harlot sniffed at the dry loam here, gazing at each member in turn before she sighed, turning first to her wife and then to their polar-bear leader.

Raleska followed, a frail looking ghost on the fringes of the company. She avoided the curious looks of Valravn and Regin, both who had seen her by the den but rarely had an opportunity to interact with her.

Tenseness held the line of her lips as they traced westward. Raleska was sorry to see the coast go, but these days she had little spark or energy, least of all for things as inconsequential as where she put her head at night.

Following at a distance Raleska regarded the two surrogate mothers tiredly but warmly. Ironic, wasn’t it— that the two mothers that had replaced her own, in turn replaced her too?

Her children would be better for it, though her heart ached.
all of which makes me anxious,
at times unbearably so.

When the rains came, so did his dread; he could recall the sea’s rage as if it struck them only a day or so ago, the anger that drove them from the shore once before. The water levels were rising, threatening them, and yet Aningan did not feel the same fear experienced so many months ago—things were different now, the storms included. But this did not prevent him from leaving, trailing behind those led forward by Erzulie, watchful; none that remained would be left behind, he’d make certain of that.

It would be temporary, he knew, but his sorrow lingered anyways. He would always strive to be near to the sea, despite all it threw at them. Yet, his desires were not what mattered—now it was the safety of the children, of all within his family, that mattered most of all.

So as they rain dragged on, so did he after his pack.
Characters are more than welcome to mistake Aningan for a polar bear.
A snowy owl can also be noted hanging around with Aningan, usually in the trees or sky, unless stated otherwise in my posts.

Arcelia did not understand the rain or what it meant for the coastal wolves. She knew only that the sky was grey and strange, clouds swirling overhead whilst dumping water down on them; she wondered if it was the same water as the sea, only to find that the scent was not at all the same. No matter, she trailed after her family quietly, trying to wrap her mind around what was going on.

solaire did not like the rain. she did not like being removed from the sun either, but she understood why such would be necessary. as they moved, she followed quietly, though there seemed to be a little storm cloud over her own head- she was readable as a book, dissapointment clear on her face.
