Where the hell did it go? Wraen was still baffled ten minutes later, because the hare wasn't anywhere to be seen and it's scent was almost impossible to catch. The animal's and her tracks criscrossed the area and since she did not see any tracks leaving the place, where the wild chase had happened, she concluded that the hare must have hidden itself somewhere.

The arduous task was spared for Wraen, because someone called out to her and she soon spotted the source of the sound. "Hey!" she returned and waited for the other one to come closer. For one crazy moment she speculated that perhaps the hare was a shape-shifter and had turned into a wolf.
