It had been almost a year, since Wraen had set her foot in Tuktu Hinterlands, but the recent snowstorms driven her further away from her usual hunting grounds at the coast and Northern part of Greatbear wilderness, in search for a more easily accessible prey. It had been days now, since she had had a decent meal and the food shortage had left it's mark - her plush winter coat was hanging loosely on her small, bony frame. Yet this was not her first rodeo with famine and she knew that, if needed, she would survive on sheer will to live alone. 

It was no wonder that, when she caught scent of a recently established cache in the vicinity, she wasted no time in attempt to locate it. Here and there she came upon scent marks left by wolves she did not know, but her desperation for food was stronger now than the rational decision to be careful and watch out. And after a while, she came upon a place, where the earth had been upturned recently and it smelled deliciously of something. She stopped there and began to dig.
