"Spring's definitely treating me better than winter," Wraen replied, smiling. There were still less sunny and warm days than she would have liked, but food was not scarce anymore. She had fattened up a little, no longer reminding a skeleton with a plush fur coat. And she had Maia - the jolliest, wittiest and most loyal friend a girl like her could wish for. In brief - life was good. 

"How are the little ones doing? Need a hand now to look after them?" she asked. Up until now she had taken a polite distance from the two newborns and the little family, not wishing to disturb them and seeing no use in her help. However, now that five weeks had passed since their birth, she wondered, if Wildfire would like to have her or Maia as nannies time from time. Little kids could be overwhelming and she remembered fondly and proudly as well, how she had given an "out" for her mother at that time.
