A common theme: after 100 girlfriends (or boyfriends, depending on the character) - ranging from random hook-ups to few serious cases that do not work out - 10 seasons, spanning over many years, comes Mr. or Ms. Right. For a split of second, therefore, she was perplexed by the simple explanation, because she had expected a more detailed history. Then came the realization that it had been the same for her parents - they had known each other for a very long time and come together not as people drunk in love, but rather two mature people, who had found out that they preferred and enjoyed being together rather than on their own. 

"Not really, no. Maia is my best friend and... I do not have any other to choose from," she admitted. Epic had been an object of interest for a while, but these feelings had mellowed down to a degree that she viewed him more as a reckless and funny younger brother than a possible mate-material.
