It would seem that there wasn't just one wolf who would respond to a call demanding an audience with their alpha. He could hear Desdemona's calm voice as he approached, coming to the stranger's summons a moment or two after she had. Not surprisingly- the spider-legged female was able to traverse the mountain territory much quicker than he was, and he felt confident in her abilities at handling this stranger on her own. The way the subordinates had respectfully flanked their superiors when he'd joined the pack had taught him a thing or two- so he fell into place at Desdemona's flank, regarding the stranger before them with interest.
