Emberwood Remember when you said you loved me?

She’d always been made of something different. She’d run away from him before, and he’d hated it. Then, she’d given him an ultimatum about being wedded; now, it felt like she was trying to make him be the one to run away. 

He wished she could simply thaw and tell him that she’d be heartbroken. He wanted someone who loved him enough that the thought of being separated felt wrong. He sighed.

”I think I can give you what you need from a relationship.” He said. ”But I’m not…Sure if I’m going to be able to get what I need.” He admitted.
