If Wraen had told that Osprey was seeing stuff that others did not to an adult and not a kid, they would get an impression that her mother was a total lunatic or weirdo at the very least. However, kids Jarilo's age weren't very judgemental and welcomed all kinds of crazy things in their lives. The more magical and unbelievable, the better.
