The visitor had come when Druid called, and Glaukos heralded his entry from afar. He knew he was failing the two women - unable to keep both of them fed on his own - and he was glad to see help arrive when it did; however, when he tracked the man on a trajectory towards the mouth of the bypass, Glaukos realized the healer was not intent on staying.

He stalked after him until this realization hit. Then, becoming a wholly different animal altogether, Glaukos rounded upon the path Etienne was making with the intention of cutting him off. The value of Rivenwood's one entrance was not lost upon the Den Father.

The black bear came crushing through the forest, and stood in staunch opposition to the other man's escape. The look in his eye was dangerous; the rest of him weaponized to do what he must - conveying everything without uttering a single threat.

Where do you think you're going, @Etienne?

Etienne had not met the man Glaukos. He knew him to be the big boss the alpha. Amd directly responsible for both Heda and Druid. And though Etienne saw nothing wrong with the arrangement. He did wonder at the male.

A stalking aound. Rushing of heavy pawed feet. Etienne lifted his head and quickly stopped. A wild feral creature stood in front of him. And he was ashamed to admit he almost lost complete control of his bladder based upon the fiery uncaged look he was given.

But he was born of queens. Of sea and salt and surf. He held the ocean in his chest lively and untamed. And he drew on that might. That gift from his foremothers. As he steeled his spine.

w'at be meanin' of dis? I be leavin' clearly.

The man looked as ill-prepared as any boy might when faced with danger. Glaukos was glad he had that effect on him, when usually he ignored how imposing he could appear, now he would wield himself as the weapon he had been trained into becoming.

The wildman bristled and squared-off to the healer, his tail giving a single lash before settling high and still. The women need a healer. Glaukos states this knowing that the man had just come from them, and the way he has placed himself is indication enough that Etienne would have to fight to leave - and it would be a fight he would not walk away from fully intact if he tried. There was no choice here.

Glaukos paces forward one heavy step, then two, and rumbles a warning deep in his chest. You go nowhere but back to them.

Etienne was not a large wolf by any means. Even Anselm was head and shoulders over him. And frankly Etienne had a lithe build. Almost feminine, but not quite. As a dancer or a runner. He would not win a fight. He didn't even kno2 if he would have a chance to inflict a hit.

And I be 'ealin' dem obviously. why couldn't he do so from a distance.

Etienne narrowed his eyes. Unsure what to do. He could choose to return to them without a fight, but that felt cowardly and his granme Roz would not have allowed such a thing. No. Pride and lineage demand he at least try and make a stand.

Etienne lifted his head. Golden eyes glaring blatantly into the other mans own sunset eyes. But they looked better on Anselm.

You 'ave to carry me back. I go now'ere witcha. bourik

Etienne squared shoulders of sand and loam. And leapt forward. Aiming to bite near mans side and hopefully give him time to run. Was he being foolish yes. But he didn't like being forced to do anything.

I am fine with minor injuries even knocking him unconscious which honestly probably wouldn't be hard. In case you want it I rolled an 8 in tabletop. And i can handle small pp with them. There is a huge sizable difference so it would make sense that he'dbe tossed about like a ragdoll. Glaukos could probably throw him over his shoulder kicking and screaming lol

The man was a fool for trying. Glaukos did not need him to be intact to get what he wanted, and so when Etienne leapt to action in an attempt to fight, the larger man welcomed the closing of distance. There were snaps at his sides rather than his face or neck, and while the man was quick he was easy to read. It was clear by the way Etienne moved that he was not a warrior.

The bear of a man reacted in his own unkind way. Letting Etienne think he had any hope to escape, and then thrusting himself hard and fast forward, in to the snapping teeth and in to those ribs and reaching with a ferocious lunge to grapple. Glaukos threw his weight in to his counter, slamming against Etienne - gripping his shoulder, using the momentum of their two bodies to his advantage - and within moments of the two colliding Glaukos was throwing the man to the ground, hard.

His hope was to knock him out and forcibly move him after, but in the off-chance this direct assault did not effectively do that, then he would stand over the dazed, gasping man, lift him and slam him down for good measure.

Etienne would be roughed up and likely bruised, battered, bloodied - but he would be here, as Glaukos demanded.

Etienne knew he wouldn't win. The attempt was futile. He didn't even honestly know what his intention was other than to try and get away.

But before he could even try. The other was upon him in a brutal fashion. Of the likes Etienne had never known. He felt his ribs give way, but there was no snap, but it would hurt for days.

Further injury and insult were added as Eti was thrown to the ground. A cross between a yelp and a snarl left his maw. But his head glanced hard against the dirt.

He gasped. His body so unused to such violence unable to summon movement. The shoulder that had been ripped around quivered and then the aches fell upon battered body.

Etienne curled inward. Sparing one wretched glance to the other man, before darkness won and he lay limp but breathing.
