Pack Formation
AW, tagging @Neon for interest :)

Establishing a new pack wasn't a foreign concept to Bronco, who had been through several pack changes in his life. Whether it was a temporary move due to flooding or the very beginning of a new pack, he at least had a decent idea of what needed to happen.

And so, he'd begun to take it upon himself to start establishing the borders. They needed a claim large enough that they could hunt within their own boundaries without absolutely eshausting their food supply, but also not so large that a wolf at one border could not assist a wolf along another borded, too far away, if someone decided to trespass.

This time, the borders were mostly set by the edge of the forest which was lined with a stand of evergreen trees. These tall spruce trees reached up above the hardwoods that composed the majority of the emberwood, so even a young wolf not paying much attention could patrol with ease.

The only trick now was marking it. He'd made his way along the Southern border before stopping to drink from the Southern fork of the river. He'd take a bit of a break now before finding a way across, and continuing along his way.
