mahler followed the line of melkor's heavy muzzle, pulling his eyes from stag and windholme the river as hunger roiled in his body. suddenly ravenous, and eager to stain the slopes of their new home with blood, mahler nodded at the pair. the gargoyle found comfort in how unassuming melkor had been these past days; he was more confident now that he could lead alongside this man.
