Like an inexperienced buck, Bronco sprinted boldly toward the creature which, in seeing that it was now being actively pursued by two wolves, began all evasive maneuvers that it could muster. Being smaller than Bronco, it was able to veer this way and that once the boy was hot upon its heels, which frustrated him.
