Hydra shadowed her mother, though kept a distance from the woman. Instinctively she understood of the protective flare that the Blackfeather wolves had heightened; she too thought it wise to patrol the neighboring peaks at length. Hydra was ever-learning, though pleased that her present instinct was correct. When her mother spotted another, so too did Hydra; she closed the distance she had let linger between her mother and herself, sidling alongside her. The other was far enough from Moonspear to not cause Hydra to feel irate, and if her mother was not tense then she saw no reason for herself to be such a way. Still, she was wary—she did not know if this wolf was of the Woods, unable to get a good sense of their scent.
