If she had only her packmate's experience to learn from, she would decide that being pregnant there and then was not a thing for her. However, she knew from seeing her own mom and Finley, for example, that nature had it's way in efficiently erasing the bad memories and associate kids with something essentially good.

She had the good sense of not saying any of this to Niamh, who - in her current mindset - would rebuff any attempts to cheer her up.
