Interrogation wasn’t typically something that rattled Bronco, but he still felt relieved that the questioning period was wrapping up. He felt he’d answered well, and that he’d answered honestly. He wondered if Teya knew her friend was inspecting him- but he didn’t mind. Bridget could have that as her little secret or tell Teya what she’d scoped out if she wanted. 

It surprised him to hear her ask a question which implied that she figured Bronco and Teya would have children. It seemed a bit early, to him, but he took her question as it was, regardless of what Bridget might have been fishing for. 

”That’s what aunts are supposed to do.” He said. ”And uncles. And older siblings, really. Everybody’s supposed to just spoil them rotten, and break some of the soft rules with them. It makes the parents become better parents, and gives the kids other role models to look up to.” He said.
