Turtle Island [NaWOWriMo] Of Metal and Magic

Wraen did not pay much attention to Nynka's scolding, though part of it she did deserve, even if the fall had happened due to no fault of her own. She knew the little weasel well enough by now to know that it would be pointless to argue, because her companion was always right. Always. 

Therefore she focused at the more pressing problem at hand and that was the oddest looking creature in the world. While the weasel was investigating the beeping thingies on it's body, she walked around it and sniffed it carefully. It was an entirely new experience for her - this was a smell like no other. And due to the circumstances she found herself in now, she decided she did not like it at all. 

"There is an open den there," Wraen beckoned to a doorway that had not been there earlier. She did not wish to stay any longer and find out, what the green man was capable of doing, when it was awake. "Hop on and let's go and see, what's there," she told the weasel and crouched a little to let her friend climb up again.

[Here the dream began to fade and by the time Wraen woke up in the regular world, she recollected meeting Nyka clearly, but the circumstances were dim and blur.]
