revui, merrick, and toad found themselves unified in violence. evien was and had remained the sole voice of reason within the harsh reality of ursus, but the boy found he too was wearied of disrespect. to that end, he craved all instances in which to expand the bloodied reputation of his loyal pack.
with an approving glance to the hunting toad, a wink to revui, and a teasingly reluctant nod to the pretty young doctor, merrick made a great show of striding toward the stranger with plume flung high. pride sparkled in his single eye; he grinned predatorily toward the bit of spotted fluff that had accompanied the man.
"better talk fast, kiddo," merrick mocked when he had approached their guest, meeting the hard gaze there. perhaps this boy too was a warrior, though the madman had little stock in his abilities to escape ursus' teeth. he had gotten his meeting. what would be do to make this or fuck it up?
