the sesh @Nazli is to be recalled from her place in akashingo to join the queen's court in muat-riya. should she be unable to travel, there will be alternative arrangements prepared for her depature.

the alternative arrangement turned out to be khusobek himself, sent to retrieve nazli on a seasonably warm afternoon. with him he brought his shoulders and a length of hide to drag.

the crocodile recited his message to her doctors, waiting outside the mesa as he waited for their diagnosis to be delivered in return.

It took some convincing, and oh how @Gilthyra railed against it! But it would be done. Nazli herself insisted upon it; although Kiaxe did not want to leave her for any length of time, she had to stay with the doctor. As capable as Gil was, the road would always prove safer to those traveling with more eyes and ears.
Gil informed Khusobek of what to look for, should Nazli become dizzy or distant in affect, and how often to rest, and for how long, and what herbs were what, and how to prepare them, and began even to list where best to seek out such things if their bundles were not enough for the trip — and Nazli, boldly, hushed her.
And so it was, Nazli would make her way with Khusobek for company. Her caretakers lingered within Akashingo for a night only; then, with their own way prepared by Jawahir and those left behind, Gil and Kiaxe would go back to their sisters.
