It had been awhile since Vasa had thought of settling. For many moons now she'd been wandering as if born to it, and perhaps in a way she was. She often thought of the day she'd nearly died as a sort of rebirth; a reformation, at the very least. But with time and age she found herself desiring, more and more, something constant. She wanted to settle down.

The creek pack caught her eye for the territory first; the size second. Not a tiny pack but certainly not a large one. Perhaps they could use a medic among their ranks.

Vasa howled at the border and waited for whoever would answer.

She would not need to wait long. Arric was on the birders as he usually was. He blinked blue eyes and approached. He was not overly overt in his stance, but he was clear in who he was.

Though he did offer her a small smile. What brings you to the bordees of the creek?

Then he would wait to hear what she had to say.

Just a cameo unless acknowledged. <3

Ensio had been close as well, when he heard the howl at the borders. Feeling compelled to do good by his word, he turned towards the voice. He may admit that in more recent days, a stronger instinct revolving around two prominent, white ladies also drove him.

He could feel the ropes of the bond with each of them growing. Tighter. Stronger.

Weighty paws like ice and granite clipped over soils which would soon see their first frost, if not already. He wondered what winter would be like here. A distant figure, he appeared a ways behind Arric, who had arrived before him. The visitor was feminine. Mature and pitch black.

He and Sovereign had been in her place not so long ago. Wordlessly, he hung back as a peaceful observer.

Unlike Arric and Ensio, Eshe knew precisely who'd arrived at the borders. She was surprised to hear Vasa's voice—but no less excited!—and she swiftly made her way through the territory. When Eshe arrived, she walked past Ensio, whom she acknowledged with a bob of her head, and pulled up alongside Arric. She greeted him with an easygoing smile before turning towards their guest.

Vasa! she exclaimed, her tail wagging. What're you doing here?!
