Altar of Twilight Dreams that almost feel real

The ear flick of assistance-desired-but-not-required came (as if Hydra would not join in on the opportunity to right this males behavior toward her sister), and her casual ambling in the distance suddenly transitioned into a heated-missile strike, his own bodies temperature the exact match for her target. She had heard him—he was a deranged lunatic. Hydra wished she could purge the world of them. 

She saw her sister go at him, and he did not move. Not even to attack. She wondered at this as the distance closed. He might have an easier time at it, for not running. The chase instigated them. He was guilty, guilty of cruelty toward her treasured Alya, and would be punished—though perhaps his stillness might prevent death.
