Neverwinter Forest up in smoke

Sorina was amusing, but that was it. When she moved to depart, Hydra behaved defensively, keeping at a distance where it was clear she did not seek to provoke or attack, solely to defend. Her mother could handle the dimwitted Tit.  She yawned to show her good-natured intent; Hydra was not a killing machine, but she certainly would attack to kill any that threatened those she loved. Screech should be dead; it was for Rannoch, Gannet, and Wraen that she kept him alive.

Hydra hadn't any idea she was being ignored; the question was purely rhetorical. If she did not think so, Hydra continued to think to herself, then she had found her perfect match in moron-extraordinaire. Hydra couldn't help a she-wolf that lacked dignity and self-respect. One ear cupped backward as she listened for the sounds of her mother and her enemy both.
