Hydra and @Lyra both moved together, a weighty, meaty limb clutched between their jaws. The journey was slow partly because now and then she and her sister would grow playfully possessive over the leg. But soon enough they arrived, and Hydra regarded Vela and Jarilo with a low rumble. She bid they move with a simple glance that could not be misinterpreted, though only so as to place the limb close to the den mouth. She knew better, any wolf with common sense would, than to enter without express permission.

She chuffed lowly, the sound more to her father than to her mother—she recalled how tired she had been once Vela and Jarilo had been born, and had no desire to disturb. Still, she did want to know the results of what her mother had brought today.
