In part, it was a good thing that his sister didn't pick up on his misery, as it meant then that they might not have to acknowledge it. Sometimes it was just a bit easier to be distracted from one's woes, and the tired smile he'd given her ended up brightening a tad when he saw how urgently she wanted his attention. Well, maybe it wouldn't matter so much, how little he impressed his mother or other wolves his own age- he meant enough to his younger siblings that...Maybe that could make up for him failing elsewhere. 

He was still overheated and tired, but he couldn't say no to Alyx. She was a Princess and therefore, could basically order him around and get him to do whatever she wanted...And given how important this task seemed, his interest was actually piqued. "Of course, your highness," He chuckled softly, standing up albeit a bit slowly.
