When he arrived, she was looking about, cheerfully. Obviously, she hadn't taken him too seriously when he'd said some kind of cryptid lived there- either that, or she'd forgotten. He nodded and tried to forget about the pebble he'd swallowed a moment ago. His items, as well, were covered in saliva, but he wasn't bothered.

"Yeah, it's a cool space," It was hard to forget that this was no longer Towhee's home, and that her family had been divided here, but Shenanigans didn't need to know that. "Maybe you can claim it for your own someday," He said with a cool shrug. After all, it was on the market and no one else seemed terribly interested in taking it.

Someday, Shenanigans echoed with a gleam in her eye and a cheeky smile, liiiiike today?

Of course, she wouldn’t want to sleep here alone and would spend the nights wherever her adoptive family members decided to rest together. But Shenanigans was determined to stake her claim now, even if she wouldn’t enjoy her acquisition until some later date.

She shuffled outside and sprinkled a bit of urine on a scraggly patch of grass beyond the doorway, then trotted back indoors and flopped on the floor with a sigh. Their game had been fun but Shenanigans was worn out now and wouldn’t mind giving this cozy space a test drive with a good afternoon nap.

Last post from me! :)

He laughed. "Why not," Bronco commented, as Shenanigans marked an area outside the den. Harmless, he figured. He'd make sure she returned home to her caregivers, of course, but when she flopped to the ground and her eyes began to flutter close, he figured that task could wait. She was young yet, and kids could run out of energy quite suddenly. He didn't mind so much- Bronco was just as happy to nap as anyone else, so he circled, and flopped down on the ground, sending a couple of the pebbles scuttling.

He'd teach her bobstones and the art of talking to monsters another day.
