All Welcome
She was reclusive, for it felt so much must be done!

Her fire smoothed out into a frenzy. She tried to find a good place to den already, feeling that the work would become too hard if something had truly taken root. What would she do if she became round and unable to move with her slinking ease?

Today, she sought out help in this endeavor. Knowing everything would be done much quicker if she was not alone.

A low warm note was crooned out to any who may help her dig at the cold earth.

Arric heard the call and @Akavir was absent so he headed towards the dark she wolf. He smiled at her, blue eyes taking her in, and then he stepped to help her.

You need some help?

He didn't want to push his presence on her if she didn't want his. But he would be pleased to help her with whatever it was she needed. A den then very well.

You settling in okay?

His ribs still smarted, but most of the other wounds he had received were able to be hidden with his dark fur. He had felt shame and then burning anger after leaving. He hated nothing worse than having stuff assumed about him. It had taken him two days of straight meditation to calm down.

Arric was a welcomed figure in this endeavor.

She crooned out to him, warm notes. Her body wiggled slightly and she shrunk some, to defer to the larger man. But then she turned to show him the tangled, frozen roots of a tree.

Ah, but it was...just him.

She was not aware that Akavir had gone away.

So she blinked, owlishly, waited for a heartbeat or two. Akavir? A soft look of concern fluttered across her face.

A smile grew at her warm greeting and the wiggle she offered him. She was sweet. He liked her hoped they would be friends, but he knew where he stood. That it was Akavir she liked and he hoped that she could thaw the beast's heart.

He sniffed at the roots. We can dig these out and get you a nice cozy place out of it.

Then her question came and he nodded. No need to worry. He went to talk with our allies at Riverclan. There's two now. Riverclan and Kvarsheim.

He went to talk.

She did not understand why he would leave now, but perhaps that was not for her to have much of a say in. So she let her features drop into neutrality and only nodded.

She could have gone with, she thought.

There was a feverishness to which she dug with now.

Then she looked back to him, large eyes blinked. Curious and wondering of many things, just not equipped with the words to ask on it.

I think he was feeling a little restless and wanted to make sure our borders are well taken care of form us and our allies. Especially given that there maybe babes in the future yes?

Arric stepped up to join her. Do you want a big den or a cozy one?

He met her bright gaze with his own blue eyes. He could see questions there, but he had no answers to give. He wished there was a better way to talk with her.

Arric was kind.

Kinder than she felt she deserved for all the snaking she did. A coy look is given at his nod towards the future. Babies! From her? She wonders if they will look like a handsome father or their unholy mother.

There were easier things to consider now, though.

Big. She offered in a croaky hum. Need room.

A crow's laugh escaped her.

He chuckled. She wanted a big den eh. Well it made sense Akavir wasn't small. Arric dipped his muzzle down.

Big it is then.

he moved immediately into work, digging through the earth. It would take time and his paws would hurt cause the ground was hard and frozen, but once he got past that first layer it would get better. He knew.

They would make as quick work of it as they could.

With her feverishness and his strength, she imagined anything was possible! Even as the cold ground tore at the edges of her paws.

Even when she should likely stop for a break. Her breath punched the cold air in steamy trails.

Fade? Gah i do not need anymore babies, but those Jakavir babies.......

Arric would do what he could to ease the work from her shoulders alone, he'd try and get her to take off where he would dig down enough that the dirt was not so hard, nor so frozen. Where it wouldn't cut her sensitive paws. It was only fair that he do the brunt of the hard work, being that she would be doing hard work for the next how many ever weeks as she carred the future of Swift current in her womb.

fading!! and >>>:3 <3

The switched, and traded.

If she did not work on the den, she found other things to work on until he let her return to digging. By the end of it all she would be too exhausted! Yet grateful for the man who had come to aid her since day one.
