It was into the world of slumber that she slipped, having found that it was possibly the easiest way to communicate with the living. She couldn’t control the environment that the dreamer created, but she could be a part of it; a figment that the dreamer could not control, not until they shook themself awake.

She sought out sadness, drawn to it like a lantern fly. Of all those who slept, this one had the deepest grief, and she welcomed herself into the @Teya’s subconscious reality to find herself immersed in visions.

She hung back to interpret for a moment.

it was a dream that teya had endured before. a spill of snow and a winter moon. ibis, her shade caught in memory for all time, danced beneath the glow which lit the snow to blinding.
a red masque, the cardinal bridget, and the pooling, soporific heat of their time together.
reyes, handsome, glorious; i love you, he whispered, cherishing her with his gaze as teya did not think he had ever done in life.
another moon and bronco's kiss, his scarred face lit beautifully with love.
his cold body beside her.
this was the moment in which teya would usually awake, but this time she did not, staring with unblinking dreamscape eyes at the golden vision unfolding strangely before her.

The woman was full of longing, grief; there were many who came to her and evoked both gratitude and sadness. And it was with horror that she recognized Reyes among them- followed by her son, tending to the woman with a look in his eyes she'd never seen before.

Had this woman drawn Reyes' gaze from Towhee? This woman had loved (or at least been loved) by her scarlet nephew, who had broken her leg, and led her to her consuming madness- and she had also loved Niamh's first-born son. Now, both were dead.

Rage shook her. She had no idea what kind of control she could wield in the dream of a living wolf, but she felt herself simmer and heat as she hissed.

"I will come for you, and I will make you suffer."

Her voice became a roar, and as though a light switch had been turned off- she winked out of existence.

She would seek out True Death, and see if a bargain could be struck.
