Stoical—pale eyes grazed the length of the borders, feeling the whip of a warmer wind brush over him, stirring at his fur. It spoke of the hardship of summer heat—hot enough he found himself missing the relief of the cooler creek.

Still—this had been in motion for weeks now, and each day passed, more of his initial ideal had crumbled away.
