Dated 01/15 to fully acknowledge Rev's pregnancy <3
A year ago she'd looked at Jakoul and thought that pregnancy was a horror; an illness that she would never choose to bring upon herself. Reverie loved children. In a perfect world she would dream of a huge family, a dozen children of her own. But this was not that world, and the trials of pregnancy featured in all of her nightmares.

She wasn't alone this time. But she felt alone. Kukutux had told her to rest for the duration of it, but how could she? Boone was unwell, and there was so much to be done to keep Hearthwood alive. Reverie kept to the borders when she was not tending her husband, hunting when she could, fiercely ignoring the sickness settling over her like a heavy cowl. She'd managed to eat for the first time in days only to lose the contents of her stomach the moment she reached the Whispering Marsh. This time she did not weep.

This time she felt nothing at all. She was pregnant, and alone again, and it was different but it was all the same. She just wanted to sleep.

Reverie did not return to her den until she was too exhausted to even think about it anymore.
