All Welcome
as of now Miriam is exploring. She'll head to familiar places for clues- if nothing happens, heads home.

Miriam self-pitied in Neverwinter for so long, taking care of Liliana, trying to explain her brother just went.. On a journey, for the Gods. He would be back- and she didn't have the heart to tell the truth. Days did she stay, loving and smothering her daughter, before finally telling her.. She would be gone for a bit.

The mother needed to bring Asmoses back, and she simply couldn't wait anymore. Wolves went out to search for him, and she blessed them so, and prayed for their safety- yet he didn't come home.

And so, in the dead of night, whispering to her sweet daughter, Miriam placed her near Mal's den. She told her daughter if he asked, Miriam went out to find Asmoses. And no, she couldn't come with, she had to stay with her father, making sure he didn't get any trouble. With loving kisses to her so- the woman set off.

Firstly, @Bronco was her first though. He had seen her children, not particulary Asmoses, but as Liliana was his twin, it would be an easy spotting. Miriam would first ask the Moonspear wolf, once Firebird, if he has seen him.

She couldn't remember if anyone told her of asking around, specifically toward the Moonspear wolves. She was so caught up in sorrow, that the days seemed to blur..

Though Miriam needed any sign, somewhere, somehow.. May the Goddess grace her so.

As he made his way along the borders, Bronco roved out a bit further from the slopes and into the grasslands, where the ground had finally begun to dry up and recover from the deluge. It was more firm under his feet, which was a welcome change, as he had become quite tired of slipping and sliding around on the mountain's slope. The grasses filled out, and as though they began to approach a second burst of spring, the meadows looked more verdant than ever. It wouldn't be long, he knew, until the colours started to change, and the valley was willed with autumn flowers- but they had a few weeks of summer yet, he figured. Now was the time to enjoy them.

He spotted a greyish figure in the distance- if she stood still, she might've appeared like a slim boulder in the grasses, though she was too finely made to have been cut from anything but polished marble. He let out a bark to catch her attention, and loped toward her, having recognized her immediately. Having already crossed paths with Vallkyrie, he wondered if perhaps Mirim was coming to bring him good news, and he bounded toward her, grateful he was given the opportunity to see her again- but his expression changed when he saw hers. Miriam was searching- and her worry-worn features caused him to frown as he slowed. When he reached her, he touched her cheek with his nose in a quiet, subservient greeting. "Any sign of Asmoses?" He asked, ears turning back with trepidation.

Her face lit up to the familarity of Bronco. She accepted his touch with a welcome, as counting him as a friend and was pleased to see. Though upon the question, her face instantly dropped.. Miriam only hoped- dearly so, that he came across her son. It seemed another already informed him so, but there was no signs.

"No.." Her head shook as she looked down, holding back any sobbing, "i'm.. Going to find him."

Bronco had figured as much. It seemed that fate had set a cruel gaze upon Miriam, who had once been lost herself and now had lost her young son. He couldn't imagine how much it must have hurt her, knowing her young child was out in such a vicious world on his own, though he had some inkling of the pain when his sister had run away. She'd only been three months old- and had been gone for months. So, in the very least, he hoped that Asmoses- who he thought would've been a bit older than Nellie had been when she'd wandered off- might have fared just as well.

He breathed a sigh, and moved closer when she dropped her gaze. He could feel a heart-wrenching ache that seemed to pour out like cold vapour, hanging about her tense shoulders, and he moved softly against her, touching his muzzle to her shoulderblades so that she might pause in her search to at least seek some comfort. While he was aware that the father to her children- Mal- was only hours away, he felt no shame in reaching out to her while she was in such distress. As calm and still as a boulder, he remained, fit for her to lean her aching chest into his if she saw fit- or pull away without worrying about being clutched. "You are. Will you allow me to accompany you, for a bit?" He asked softly. He didn't need to remind her how dangerous the world was; he was certain she was already painfully aware of it without a reminder.

Breathing heavily, it was like an almost tilt to her induced crying as she had been for so many days. First she went through it with her daughter and mourned, but remained strong and smiled, so she may smile as well. Oh Liliana, Miriam hoped she was alright. Though with Asmoses gone, nothing was holding her together, she wondered where he was.. How he was doing-

she prayed he wasn't hurt. She prayed he didn't have the same fate as Liliana.

She felt like it was a punishment, was the Goddess inducing this? Was this a sign? A sign that shouldn't have happened? She remembered the dream were they were all light, but she couldn't remember.. Was she light too? Was this darkness, and now a punishment?

Miriam would fix this. "I'll.. Find him." She wouldn't stop until she knew he was safe, and would always mourn for her little star boy. A desire, and a comfort as Bronco leaned her into him and she embraced it fully. Closely to him, gentle crystals soaking in his fur but remained unspoken, only shaken from the tears.

"The Goddess has given me no signs... Do you, know where to start?" Where should her journey begin? Originally to the coast was her desire, but perhaps he was the sign she needed.

When she leaned against him, Bronco combed his teeth through the guard hairs along the naoe of her neck to reassure her, though he was going through gestures he'd used before- though they felt new and unfamiliar to him now. Was he doing this right? It certainly felt right to him, to have the warm, lilac-blossom woman pressing her muzzle into the fur of his shoulder and leaning against his chest. For all the charming and flirting he'd done in passing with others, nothing really measured up to actually holding someone.

He was a bit confused by her talk about a Goddess- but he chose not to question her religion, and rather address the topic at hand. It was, he hoped, her way of inviting him to help. "If I were a young boy, and I were lost," He said, and paused for a moment. Asmoses was from Neverwinter- and the boy had grown up in and sheltered environment. "I'd think as soon as he realized he was lost, he'd head for the nearest treeline," He said, turning his head- gently brushing his chin against Miriam's stone-washed brow as he did so- and looked to the Southeast. "He might've gone toward the Heartwood," He said. "Either there, or the Weald, to the West of Neverwinter." He said. For some reason, he felt more strongly that the boy might have gone to the Deepwood Weald- it was closer to Neverwinter...But where they were, right then, was much closer to the Heartwood, and therefore worth investigation.

Miriam started to calm down, her heavy breathing was softening alongside Bronco's own rythm, and her tears were slowly drying up from her face, "Thank you," the mother whispered to her friend. She found he chose all the right movements, and while Cupid was rather rough in her approach, he worked just as well. Though Bronco's choice of gentleness, felt more pleasing to her.

She slowly removed herself from the embrace, to take a gander in the direction of the Deepwoods. Previously she gotten lost there.. "Then let's choose there." Perhaps her curious son did get lost, and Miriam could only hope.

He smiled in quiet response to her gratitude, feeling that there really wasn't anything she owed him in terms of appreciation. He truly cared about how she felt- and wanted her to find her son so that he would be safe, and so that she would be happy again. It seemed to him as though Miriam had been through more than enough stress lately- the least that life could do would be to cut her a break, and bring her boy home. And if there was any way that he could be the one to do it...Then it would be life cutting him a break, too.

"To the Weald?" He asked, to clarify. It would take some time to travel out that way- but now that his ribs had healed over the past month and a half, he was much more fit for travel, and had been roving further and further from the pack's borders every time he ran into a friendly wolf who wanted a bit of protection and company. He wondered if they might be passing up an opportunity in checking out the Heartwood- but then again...Any wolf would know the difference between a forest of evergreens, and a forest of deciduous trees. Had Asmoses indeed wandered to the treeline of the Heartwood, he would've likely recognized the fact that the trees were much different than the ones that protected his homeland.

She nodded eagerly. Hopefully so her son was near so, and it would be fate if he was lost in the same area she was. Though she fretted, it had been some time and she wondered how lonely, how cold and weak he could be. Her worry only intensified, and her anxiety skyrotted. She moved to start heading over, now knowing where the area was.

"Do you think Firebirds.. May recognize him?" She thought of that group, and thought maybe.. He wondered that way. She had a lot of land to cover, and what was familiar could be more helpful to explore. Miriam wasn't sure where to start, where to end.. Where to go.

Content to guide her back through the glen and toward the Weald, Bronco moved to Miriam's side, though he could still sense lingering tension in her form, in the way her brow looked stressed, and her shoulders tight. She asked with a quiet voice about the Firebirds, and he nodded. "They might know. I'll be heading that way for a visit on the new moon, so long as the weather cooperates," He explained. "An' I'll tell them all about Asmoses so they know what to look out for." He promised. "I imagine he'd be pretty hard to miss," He said, with a soft smile. Given Miriam's diluted, lilac-grey colouring, the light dappling of Liliana's pelt and the mismatched gaze...There was no way he could be mistaken for another wolf.

"I can only hope." That was a singular phrase she would always repeat, 'hope.' The woman prayed her dearest son was safe, and perhaps crossed someones sight. She wanted a sign, from anywhere, and anyone. Though while she wanted to search for the ends of the earth for him, the mother couldn't leave too long.

He wasn't her only child.

"May the Goddess find him, and the Horned God bless him for strength."

Hope was important- and she hadn't lost it yet. For young Asmoses, that was what would matter the most. So long as they continued searching and asking around, they would have a better chance of finding him. He touched his muzzle gentle to Miriam's forehead when she uttered a quiet prayer, and he remained silent for a moment- respectful of the sacred space she was establishing, before he nosed her cheek. "To the Weald," He said softly, redirecting their journey, and escorting Miriam along the way so that she had both company and protection.
