All Welcome
Im not exxaaactly sure where she is right now other than traveling with the akashingo princes/the traveling group, so location a tad vague. AW, especially calling the traveling groups attention!
Sand sifted through the bottom of an hourglass and onto her pelt. Ra came dressed in flames. The imps pelt burned. Her throat bubbled out animalistic cries that mimicked laughter. A low head, ears to a perk. To Toula, their queen, she promised usefuless. They would see if this would hold true.
Her steps were polished on dunes. Calculative, perfected and swift. Where one fell, she did not. Behind the royals, she often stayed, eyes averted and far out of their way. If not behind, ahead, and that was where her pads took her to be now. Upon the top of a mound, her head rose high and her ears came to a full stand. Like satellites.
Hums buzzed through her ears. Too blunt of a sound, and the pitch that approached came unreliable. The demons eyes came to a squint, and then she tested the direction to her right. One perhaps needed to begin to wondering just how much she could hear, and just what they trapped.

@attn: @Racharra, keeping vague! <3

the first group had set out, followed by the second. in their wake came senmut, glowing scarlet beneath the hot sun.

it had long been a time since he had stood in a desert, or gone any length of time; the palace had made him soft, and it showed.

but he had regained himself by the time he joined legend, offering a small affectionate look, and then lifting his gaze to find the others upon the shimmering horizon.

i had to retype this lol

Racharra, much to her embarrassment, struggled under the unrelenting glare of the summer sun. Ra, god of the sun — she recalled — can he please show some mercy soon?
some how, this trek through the desert felt even worse than the first. perhaps it was because her mother was there to ease the little lake cub's feet when they ached and lifted the burden occasionally. but that was it: she was little. now, there were few that could carry her.

but it was knowing she wasn't alone on this journey (or this agony, but she'd never say that) that provided some comfort. a reason to keep moving. it also helped to consider it part of her training. if she was really going to stay loyal to Akashingo, it'd be wise to learn and accustom to all of the terrain and not just the safety of the palace. even if as a nebet she'd have not much reason to venture outwards. not without a duty anyways.

Fixing this to bordering luneshale!

Somewhere over the horizon. Far. Nothing tired her. Her pads dug into the burn of the sand. Racharra, tumbling after to make her way through the dunes, she saw. She would learn on her own, to navigate their king. To Senmut, her head turned and burned with the same gaze that settled upon her soul and pupils the moment they began their departure.
"Water."
Beyond the river.
To the naked eye, there was nothing.

They would do well to rest in the night before they preceded too far from their current location. But her sights had pinned forward, towards the Cenote

Ahead of them, the empty, dead path that she looked to. And perhaps she'd deemed herself responsible to ensuring she did not lead a path that would leave their caravan bones. A gamble, if they found nothing.

Beyond farther, she wondered if Sahu had sent bands mining for jewels. If they'd too rotted under the backside of Shuyet's eye, and Ra's light.
Legend seemed positive.

the girl was indeed young. senmut stood over her as they paused. the shadow-guard knew more than he of this desert, and he glanced in this direction. "how much longer, legend?" a voice poised, with nothing of their earlier mingling in it.

"she is a noble child. Ra cannot be allowed to burn her for long," he said of racharra with a small smile.

Racharra watched Legend with heavy and dull eyes, hoping for an answer — or rather, a good answer — to Senmut's question.
she vaguely recognized the woman now that she could get a good look; was she from the lake? or was it from their time in Akashingo? was Racharra already starting to forget her puphood? was she just asking herself so many questions to take her mind off the fact she needed water?

good for now. she tried to assure the erpa-ha with a kind lie, but she struggled to even chuff her words through her dry throat.

"Somewhere." Her nose pointed to the direction, along with her perked ears. All of her body in a line, to one way and one way only. "That where!

Their travels, however, would do best to come to a stop. For this day. For this night, if he so wished the child to live! Was it possible this child was no desert dweller? Every child should be one! Though, fine, maybe her fur was thicker, and her legs much shorter. Her ears much stubbier when put against her own!

"Yeah?" Her nose leaned down to Racharra, before her paws placed themselves up and in front of the child. While it could have stumbled her backwards, it certainly would prevent her from falling forwards to a much steeper, rougher tumble. She just wanted to go! Go, go, go farther! But these two were unfortunately, absolutely, incredibly slow! She was sure Senmut's stamina actually out in the desert would be better, but nooooo. Oh, and one was a child. With a grin, she tossed her head to Senmut before a defeated huff. "Oh, fine!" Then, her eyes back to Racharra. "We stay back! To the water not far from here, yeah? You get rest. I stay 'n look! Like mazoi." Legend was referring to the fact that the other two Mazoi's were certainly warriors in their right, and she was more like a street-fighter-wanna-be who was out on the roads just for a run. Cheeky, cheeky, but oh, Senmut proved to have understood. "That mighty good?" Her head quirked to Senmut again! He proved to not be stupid.

Yet.

And Racharra, she'd grown more than comfy with, seeing as if she pushed them to a wrong end, Racharra's blood would be on her paws. Which would end with the slice of her own head. So, it was better she made herself like Racharra. To Racharra's help, she was fun! Like an on the go build-a-pup!

her legs yearned to give out right then and there at the mention of stopping, but Racharra forced them to stay upwards — there was still much left to travel. she almost got frustrated at the the older's eagerness to keep going if it wasn't for the fact it was this wolf that would keep her alive. she was probably just irritable from being thirsty and tired anyways.
yes! that'd be more than just mighty good. she slumped, nearly walking past Legend from sheer impatience alone to get to the river.

to the water. "i accept that, legend," senmut said, maintaining for a moment some measure of regal aloofness. it did not last long; he enjoyed her ferocity, her heated looks.

but for now his focus was racharra, and bringing her to water, to rest. he nodded at the lithe mazoi,to lead on, that he would follow with the girl beside him.

when at last they came to its bank, he would watch over her, taking the opportunity to let surreptitious eyes move gently over legend.

at the first touch of water in what felt like an eternity, Racharra nearly fell completely in it. she lapped at the banks desperately, and for quite a while too. when she finally lifted her head, she had a wet but small little beard of fur hanging below her jaw and her brown nose moist.
thank you. she let out an exasperated gasp to Legend, eyes squinting to gaze at her under the sun that continued to loom over them. an angel, or a blessing from Ra, that's what Legend was to the lake cub at this moment.
