Having dealt the killing blow to the beast, Hydra would not have relented in contesting her position here as head bitch with the stranger... fortunately, they realized sooner rather than later and neither of them were worse for wear from their altercation, brief as it had been. One simply left hungrier. Hydra watched them fade into the white, and then continued to eat herself. Having eaten her fill, she stepped aside to allow the rest to eat as well; she stood alongside the corpse protectively, heeding her surroundings as best she could given the circumstances. Moriko and Katya could eat their fill too, now, and Hydra would stand guard as they did so. Once they were finished, they would head home. Her own belly full, Hydra was sated... though she would not rest until her family was as well.
