Mature Content Warning

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: Slightly graphic!
The first night @Lestan was back with her, Reverie dreamed vividly. In her sleep she curled into him and shivered; in her mind, she awoke.
It was so very foggy in her den, and the strangest sound was coming from outside. She realized next that she was alone, that Blossom was gone and so was Lestan. Surely they were together? Her ears tilted forward to catch the sound, and as it clarified she felt a chill come over her. No. No. Wolf; the sounds of pain; she rushed out of the den in the slow motion way of dreams and found —
Oh, oh no,
There was blood, so much blood, he was bleeding, Lestan; his throat a red pulsing ruin in the grass. She felt a shriek rise in her throat and then curdle and die, emerging as a choking gasp instead. She was pressing her paws into the wreckage of his throat before she knew it, because she had no moss and she had to make it stop, it had to stop, he had to stop bleeding or he would die. But there was no stopping it. It wouldn't stop. She couldn't make it stop.
He was dying.
Leaving her.
Again.
Blossom, where was Blossom? But Reverie was burning, burning forever and she knew —

I am the sun —

She woke, truly this time, with a gasp and pressed into Lestan. Eventually she calmed her breathing, and willed herself back to sleep.
Watching me is like watching a fire take your eyes from you
