Swiftcurrent Creek My Weakness Is II

Arric's eyes snapped open and he decided he needed a break. The creek was dragging him lately. And a lot of it was his own fault. He hadn't handled things well with anyone really. 

But he would go do as @Akavir had asked. This would give @Arlette time to motherhen over @Cygnet and time for him to think.

He lifted his nose to the air and holwed out a small note to all of thrm. Including @Ensio and @Sovereign . That he was going to run messages he'd be back in a few days.

Arlette heard the howl. Her ears fell back. She disliked that he went away. He left. He left her. At least he had the decency to howl. But they sort of were an item, and she had told him how her previous mate just vanished. She almost felt history was repeating. One last goodbye and she got a howl. Bitterly she turned to her den. Guess she was on her own.
