All Welcome
The medicine the nice lady had given made her feel better. It was obvious the girl hadn’t quite kicked her cold yet, but was coming close to it. Blossom was slowly becoming herself again.

Today, she stood on the very edge of the surf, wiggling her toes in the damp sand there. She traveled a bit further, unknowing of the sea creeping closer, before whack!

It hit her little ankles. Blossom couldn’t help the squeal of shock, hopping to the side before turning a steely glare on the water.

No! She shook her paw at the surf, wildly flailing it for a second.

No!
Reverie looked up from where she was lounging at the water's edge, pawing idly through the wet sand in search of treasures beneath. She'd uncovered a few things so far — shells and rocks, mostly, but here and there she found strange-looking creatures that might have intimidated her if they were any larger. As it was, she felt a mild wariness — but mostly, she was delighted. The coast held many wonders; she thought she would never get bored of it.
She lifted one of her treasures, a spiral shell mostly intact, and carried it over to Blossom. Reverie dropped it near her feet and nudged it closer with a paw, chuffing to catch her attention more fully. Then she only watched, wondering what her daughter would make of it, quite unaware of the tiny creature that had invaded and decided to camp within the empty shell.
